The Pedro Gómez firm presents its collaboration with the 404 Studio brand

The legendary Madrid company pedro gomez presented during the last edition of the catwalk 080 Barcelona an exclusive collaboration of two limited edition down jackets to complete the proposals of the FW23 collection of the Spanish brand 404 Workshop.

Key pieces of the new FW23 collection from 404 Studio, called “No me quedan Lágrimas” and inspired by the “quinqui” culture of Spain in transition, Pedro Gómez has joined forces with this Spanish brand by creating two Canadian pens in edition limited which are also inspired by the decade of the 70s and 80s; coinciding with one of the moments of greatest boom for Pedro Gómez.

The first model is a down coat in a petrol blue tone with white details and multiple zippers arranged throughout the canadian. In addition, it has an original inner lining decorated with intense red roses on a black background.

The second model is a white down coat decorated with black crochet roses. The interior of the Canadian also has a lining adorned with a print of this same flower in black on a white background.

Note the down filling of both models, which comes from the Pyrenex factory, located in the French town of Saint-Sever, and ensures exceptional qualities in terms of thermal insulation, quality and durability.

The Pedro Gómez brand perfectly combines the love of the mountains and top quality materials through the interesting story that its founder began in 1945 when manufacturing the first sleeping bag, made from down and lined with nylon, to protect you from the elements during your mountain expeditions in the Swiss Alps.

From that moment, Pedro Gómez began to receive the first orders for clothing to combat the cold and founded his own company in 1959, contributing decisively to the development of Spanish mountaineering.

The brand continued its progress and recognition in the following decades, achieving great recognition in the 80s and 90s to become a hallmark of the Madrid society of the time and a reference brand of the Royal House.

From 2019 the company passed into the hands of José Luís Serrano and Virginia Negral, who reinterpreted the origins of Pedro Gómez without neglecting its essence, maintaining the business model based on small production with the manufacture of garments on customizable control; thus retaining its exclusivity.

Today Pedro Gómez has his own store located in the heart of Madrid and under the name of El Igloo. A space to discover to combine the tradition and the history of the brand through the exhibition of its most legendary clothes, as well as those of today.
