The President of the Republic, Daniel Noboa, informed the President of the Assembly, Viviana Veloz, that he will leave the country between Thursday February 29 and Wednesday March 6.

According to the official letter sent by President Daniel Noboa this February 28, he will be the first in New York, in UNITED STATESthen in Torontoin Canada.

The reason? “Maintain official meetings and the agenda respectively,” says the letter sent to the Legislative Office. Unofficially, it was learned that Noboa was considering several meetings with migrants and investors in the United States.

The president has made several trips since his inauguration and in full state of emergency, with a declaration of internal armed conflict, to fight against organized crime groups that he described as “terrorists”.
