Noboa and Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, spoke about economy, democracy and gender

Noboa will be filling his schedule in Canada until Wednesday March 6.

The Ecuadorian President, Daniel Noboa, held a meeting this Tuesday March 5 with the The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, and they discussed the economy, the environment, clean energy and gender equality.

“Together we work for the Canadians and Ecuadorians» Trudeau emphasized in a video posted on his X account.

Meanwhile, the Ecuadorian presidency indicated that the two agreed on “strengthen democracy and work on aspects related to gender equality, creation of opportunities and inclusive growth.

This meeting is part of Noboa's agenda in Canada.

Earlier, the President met young Ecuadorians and businessmen residing in Canada. He presented them with the second edition of the Guide to Educational Opportunities in Canada, prepared in collaboration with the Embassy of Ecuador and the young migrants.

He also met with the Governor General of Canada, Marie May Simonwith whom he spoke about Ecuador's progress in terms of trade and investment attraction.

The presidential trip will be extended until March 6.
