The National Army arrested this Monday, January 29, 2024, four people, two men and two women, responsible for the kidnapping and extortion of two Canadian citizens three months agothe institution reported in a press release.
Colombian authorities rescued the two 28-year-old Canadian tourists on November 25 of the previous year. They were kidnapped in Cali for two days. However, only now have they managed to locate and arrest the criminals.
The detainees belonged to an organized criminal group and their actions were concentrated in the center and north of this city, capital of the Valle del Cauca department.
