Ukraine-Russia war, last minute live today: US warning to Zelensky

The victims of the bombing of a hospital in Dnipro rise to four

The Ukrainian authorities have indicated that the number of dead in the clinic in the city of Dnipro (center) hit by a Russian projectile on Friday increased to four. “We learned about the fate of three people who were missing after the missile attack on Dnipro. Unfortunately, they died,” Dnipropetrovsk region governor Serhiy Lysak said on Telegram. “We have the results of the examinations of the remains found at the scene of the tragedy. In total, the attack killed four people,” he added.

According to Lysak, the newly identified victims are a 56-year-old doctor, a 64-year-old hospital employee and a 57-year-old employee of a nearby veterinary clinic. Authorities previously reported the death in the attack of a 69-year-old man and the existence of more than twenty injured including two children aged 3 and 6.

“We must defeat these inhumans irrevocably and as quickly as possible,” Ukrainian President Volodímir Zelenski wrote on his Telegram account as soon as the first toll of the attack was known. Ukraine’s Interior Ministry released a video on Friday showing the destroyed building. A column of smoke escapes from inside the infrastructure, around which we can see firefighters working.
