The private company that organizes the Impacta Influencers event, at which Luisito Comunica was going to be present, explained the reasons for the cancellation.
The Impacta Influencers event, which had as its main guest Mexican YouTuber Luis Arturo Villar, better known as Luisito Communicationdid not take place in Cuenca, as announced.
The event included a masterclass from the famous Mexican YouTuber and two other content creators: the Canadian Aaron Murphy and the Colombian Carlos Díaz, known for his TikTok account “The Sheep Farm”.
On November 3, they were going to give a masterclass in the capital of Azuaya, on how to become content creators. But the event did not take place.
People interested in attending the event consulted Luisito on his social networks, who responded on his Instagram account:
“The truth is, I didn’t know what happened. They hired me to go to an event, right at the time, overnight they canceled…so I wanted to go.
Why was the event canceled?
The organizer of Impacta Influencer, businessman Daniel Molina, shared a statement on his Facebook account in which he explains why there was no masterclass.
“For reasons of force majeure and thanks to the success of the event, We have decided to postpone Impacta Influencer to do it in a larger location,” the statement said.
The businessman adds that in the coming weeks he will provide information on the new dates of the event and additional details.
Additionally, this guarantees that purchased tickets will be returned or can be used on the new date.
The event was controversial, because the Municipality of Cuenca, through its company ETAPA, intended to provide financial resources for its realization, specifically 275,000 US dollars.
But, after complaints within the Cantonal Council of the capital of Azuaya, the public procurement process sponsorship of the event ended. The private company announced that it would fully cover the costs of the organization.
