Mayor Alejandra Gutiérrez warns that as of today the city center should not be operating, so if the operations they have undertaken reveal that they are working inside the building, they will be sanctioned.
He explained that there may be personnel working on the construction site, but not with the use and occupancy of the commercial property.
“It must not be operating, we have carried out checks, but if there is a permanent indication that we are going to carry out operations and if that happens it will be sanctioned.”
Regarding what the member of the Socio-Environmental Collective Action Group Save the Wetlands, Gustavo Lozano, expressed that the municipal authority can revoke permits for the completion of works and permits for use and occupation, Gutiérrez Campos indicated that in the municipality they are respectful of the rule of law and therefore attached to what the judges have ruled so far.
Alejandra Gutiérrez argued that the only water supply the project currently has is the one reflected in the resolution, that is, only for construction.
“We understand that these authorizations were granted before the administration submitted all the evidence to the judges and we await a resolution.”
