The Weeknd concert in Bogotá: opening of doors, times and opening acts

Bogotá will experience the concert of Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, known artistically as The Weeknd, this Wednesday, October 4 at the El Campín stadium with his “After Hours Til Dawn” tour. The Canadian singer, who arrives for the second time in Colombia, returns from his presentation in Mexico and will then continue his route to four other Latin American countries: Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Peru.

The stadium gates will open to the public from 4:30 p.m. First, at 6:45 p.m., hip hop producer Mike Deam, who has worked with artists such as Kanye West and Travis Scott, will arrive. He will then give way to electronic music DJ Kaytranada, at 7:30 p.m., to leave the stage ready at 9 p.m., the time at which Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, must leave the stage.

Recommendations for The Weeknd concert

One of the organizers’ main recommendations is to get to the stadium by public transport, as no official parking will be available. The minimum age of entry for the stands is 12 years old and for the platinum court it is 18 years old. Visibly pregnant women will not be able to access the event, according to the police code.

Additionally, you need to take into account which personal items you will be able to enter the stadium with and which ones you will not:

  • Entry will not be permitted: binoculars, cosmetic bags, large bags, camping items, animals or pets, flammable gases, liquids, food, professional or semi-professional cameras or sharp objects such as straps, flag sticks or umbrellas.
  • Entry will be permitted: small bags or fanny packs, raincoats, comfortable clothing, rechargeable cell phone battery.
