Taylor Swift: This is how Trudeau asked her to give a concert in Canada

It was via Twitter that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau asked Taylor Swift to visit Canada for his tour ”The Eras Tour”

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took to Twitter to ask American singer Taylor Swift to include Canada in your world tour so that the summer is not “cruel” for Canadians.

Trudeau seized on the announcement on Swift’s official Twitter account of additional tour dates in Europe, and the absence of Canada in the international “tour” of the artist, to respond to your request.

“It’s me, hi. I know there are places in Canada that would love to have you, so please don’t make it another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon.” he wrote a pun on the lyrics of the songs “Cruel Summer” and “Anti-Hero”, which feature on Swift’s show.

The “Eras” tour will offer 14 new concerts in Europe between July and August. Additionally, Swift will perform at least 14 more concerts in the United States. “Eras” also has shows scheduled in Mexico, Asia and Australia in 2024, but Canada is off the schedule for now.

Trudeau isn’t the only Canadian politician “concerned” about Swift’s lack of concerts in the country.

Last month Tory MP Matt Jeneroux joked that he would introduce “an official complaint” from all the singer’s fans for his apparent contempt for Canada.
