Rosberg’s verdict: ‘It’s Hamilton’s fault and he should get a reprimand from Wolff’

Rosberg is clear that in the incident between the two Mercedes at the exit of Qatar, there is only one culprit and that is Hamilton. The German remembers that seeing the Briton apologize like this to his teammate is not something you see every day, but after what happened he considers it necessary that he receives a warning from Wolff.

“There is not much to debate about this incident. Seeing Lewis apologize is something that doesn’t happen often, but it was pretty clear in this case. Maybe Toto needs to talk to them. It’s a shame that Niki is no longer with us, because when something like this happened, he was the first to play the role of mediator,” Rosberg commented in an interview with Sky Germany.

“When Niki was with us in this world, Lewis and I had to face him. He always tried to mediate and get the best for both of us. In this case, the fault clearly lies with Lewisso he should receive a reprimand from Toto,” he added.

Rosberg also took the opportunity to congratulate Max Verstappen on his third World Cup and reminds that he is already one of the best of all time. The German sees many similarities between the Dutchman and Hamilton himself, especially when it comes to finding that speed.

“We are witnessing absolute greatness and already Max is close to the best of all time like Lewis, Michael, Fangio or Senna. The level at which he plays, his consistency and his precision are incredible. “I see a lot of similarities between him and Lewis in terms of pure pace, I would say they are very similar, but maybe Max is more aggressive,” Rosberg explained in conclusion.
