MEXICO SHOUTS DIVING COMPETITION

Gabriela Agúndez and Alejandra Orozco won the gold and silver medals in the women’s 10 meters. Both will aim for the gold medal in the doubles category.

Divers Gabriela Agúndez and Alejandra Orozco won gold and silver in the 10-meter platform event. Gabriela competed in her first Pan American Games and won the first gold medal in the discipline with a total score of 361.55. This medal is in addition to the bronze medal from the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, obtained with her compatriot Alejandra Orozco in synchronized diving.

Gabriela Agúndez was happy and excited about her first Pan American gold medal. “It’s a feat I’ve dreamed of for a long time, since in Lima I finished sixth in this event.
