The National Electoral Council (CNE) began with the transfer of 570 electoral packages to the 101 electoral districts of foreign constituencies for what will be the second presidential round and the repeat of the elections of national and foreign parliamentarians convened this October 15. .

From the Montgar company warehouses, located east of Quito, the shipment of equipment to the districts of Europe, Asia and Oceania will begin this Tuesday, September 26; United States and Canada; Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa, so that 402,900 Ecuadorian voters living abroad can vote in person for the presidential duo, the deputies of the National Assembly and the foreign deputies.

In these three constituencies, the vote of national and foreign deputies will be repeated, after the electronic vote of these two dignities resulting from the elections of August 20 was declared null and void.

The coordinator of electoral processes of the National Electoral Council, Fernando Toledo, informed that the Military Geographic Institute (IGM) sent the ballots and electoral documents to Montgar for assembly of the packages.

In Montgar, personnel from the National Police and the Armed Forces carried out an anti-narcotics and explosives inspection of this material.

According to Toledo, 578 election records will be sent to the 635 Vote Receiving Boards (JRVs) and 1,275,000 ballots will be printed for voters.

It is estimated that the material will arrive in all 101 electoral districts on October 10.
