The Canadian-Chilean soccer player spoke exclusively to Sentimiento Popular, where she revealed details about her time in Europe and her desire to wear the Cacique jersey.

Your first steps in professionalism

The player took her first steps in the canadian college soccer, where she received a scholarship to play on the Mount Royal University women’s team. After the pandemic, he decided to move to Germanywhere he started playing in the third league in Berlin, a semi-professional competition of that country. However, the striker’s desire has always been to achieve professionalism.

It was in search of this that he came to Lithuanian football, where he joined a professional club for the first time. “I really like playing football in Lithuania. It’s in the Baltic states so it’s a very small country, I’ve seen all the big cities because it only takes four hours to cover the whole country!confides the footballer to Popular Feeling.

“It was an incredible experience to continue playing professional football in Europe. Last season my team finished second for the fourth time in a row. We are still striving for first place, but we are happy with our performance last year,” she added.

For this year, will you continue in the same club or have you seen new horizons in other championships?

– “My contract in Lithuania is for two years, so I still have a year here. After that, I have many options to play football in Asia, Europe or Arab countries. I don’t know exactly what I’m going to decide to do, but I’m so grateful that God has blessed me with this talent and I have the opportunity to continue to pursue my dreams.”

His link with Colo-Colo

On more than one occasion and mainly via his social networks -where he reached 156,000 subscribers on his Instagram account-, Jullien openly declared his love for Colo-Colo. This has positioned her as a real celebrity among white fans, who celebrate every mention or allusion to the eternal champion that the footballer demonstrates.

Where does your closeness and affection for the club come from?

–My Chilean side of my family emigrated to Canada, and from there was born the love for Colo-Colo, with them. The whole Ramírez family is passionate about football and the best club in Chile, Colo-Colo. My grandfather is the reason I play football and he’s also the reason my whole family is one of Colo-Colo’s biggest fans.

-Yes. Even though there is a big time difference between Lithuania and Chile, I do my best to wake up at 4am to watch the matches, I follow all the social networks, media accounts to get all the updates day and even fan accounts for all the LOL gossip. I can’t wait to finally see a game in person. I think she would be so overwhelmed with emotion that she would cry!

Would you like to play Colo-Colo? Have you ever seen yourself in this position?

– This is my dream in life. I started playing football because of the passion my grandfather and my family have for the club, they are the reason why I am so in love with this sport. I would love to play for Colo-Colo and help them win another cup because that would be my greatest achievement in life.

And regarding the Chilean team, are you delighted to have the chance to defend Chile on the international stage?

-I would love this opportunity to defend La Roja. It would be a dream come true. This year, I’m going to put a lot more time and effort into improving myself as a player to get closer to that opportunity.

Possibility of transfer?

In December 2020, Colo-Colo sent Jullien the club’s official jersey, a gift which the player offers as a treasure. “This day was one of the best days of my life.“, he rocks.

Apart from this contact, have you had other types of approaches with the club?

-Yes, I had contact with the club, but since I had to finish my studies, I couldn’t go to Chile to try out for the team. I still hope to have another chance to try out and make the team.

Have you spoken with someone close to the club, with a player, part of the management, a supporter, etc.

-I spoke with some players, as well as with players from other Chilean clubs, asking them to talk about their experience and if they like it. I wanted to get so much information about football in Chile because I am very serious about playing for Colo-Colo, or if that opportunity does not come then any club in Chile.

Have they contacted you yet to talk about a possible signing?

-Until today, the only teams that contacted me about a possible transfer were in Europe, Turkey and United Arab States. One of my dreams is to play in Japan!
