A new title. Diego Elias added his second consecutive title of the year, after being crowned champion of Canadian Open 2024. In an emotional day, they beat the Egyptian Mazen Hesahm 3-1, who was a rival who fought for victory until the last moment.

The Peruvian athlete, 27 years oldstarted at a good pace and managed to win the first two sets 11-2 in front of the encouragement of some Peruvian fans present at the Canadian site.

Then the game got complicated for Elijah, as his opponent fought tenaciously to win the third set 11-9. However, in the fourth set, “Puma” returned to its best path to win 11-8.

Diego Elías was thus crowned champion of the Canadian Open and thus won his second squash title of the year.

National Credit previously won the Capital Motor City Open. Additionally, he managed to qualify for the final of the Tournament of Champions.
