“Messi10”, the Cirque Du Soleil show inspired by the life story of the captain of the world champion team in Qatar, premiered on Wednesday evening in Rosario, the city where the best footballer in the world cultivated the values and the magic in the game which are reflected in an impressive circus show full of acrobatics, special effects and innovative entertainment technologies.

After a successful run in the city of Salta and on the eve of its performances in Buenos Aires, the show arrived at the indoor stadium of the Club Atlético Provincial de Rosario, where it sold out the nine performances announced and caused record sales, for which initially they had to add new presentations for August 23, 24 and 25, and in the last hours two more dates were added, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27.

The prestigious Canadian circus company has paid tribute to many iconic pop culture artists, including the Beatles, Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley, but this is the first show they’ve dedicated to the world of soccer, and they’re doing it for celebrate one of the most talented athletes in the world, associated not only with exceptional ability, but also with effort, tenacity, camaraderie and team play.

On the evening of the premiere, Matías Messi, Leo’s brother, was present with his family and other Argentine sports personalities such as ex-tenista Guillermo Coria and ex-footballer Lucas Bernardi.
