Canadian fish and seafood processing company offers vacancies

Colima, Col.-The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection (Setcol) and the National Employment Service (SNE), announce the vacancies that a Canadian fish and seafood processing company offers to Mexican workers .

The state agency says there are a total of six vacancies that are needed to operate machinery for processing and packaging fish and seafood products, as well as for cleaners and ushers who manually cut, arrange and clean fish and seafood.

The main activities that the hired people must carry out are cleaning, cutting, selection and packaging of fish; clean work areas and equipment; classify products; pack in boxes according to specifications; store and maintain facilities in good condition.

Additional skills candidates should possess include punctuality; manual dexterity; flexibility; physical capacity; ability to interpret verbal information; among others.

It should be mentioned that men and women aged 25 to 45 are sought, with basic knowledge of English, a minimum of secondary education and, preferably, one and a half years of professional experience; These requirements must be verifiable through documentation.

Those who are selected will begin working in April in Cap-Pale, New Brunswick, with a six-month contract, receiving an hourly salary of 12 Canadian dollars; Payment will be made weekly and overtime will be paid if necessary.

The employer is responsible for covering one-way travel costs, in addition to providing an accommodation option for a fee of 70 Canadian dollars per week.
