How are Canada and Brazil arriving?
The Canadian team entered the field at a disadvantage in the historic match against Brazil. In 30 matches, Brazil recorded 12 wins, Canada 10 wins and 10 draws. To fill the gap, coach Bev Priestman is counting on the return of Janine Beckie and Desiree Scott. On the other hand, Sydney Collins, Jayde Rivière and Nichelle Prince, for medical reasons, are not available.
Just like Canada, Brazil also has significant advantages. After all, coach Arthur Elias recalled Marta and Cristiane, who could even start Saturday's match. But Canarinho is also absent. Luana Bertolucci, for personal reasons, was unable to participate in the competition. It is for this reason that the coach called midfielder Júlia Bianchi.
