Royal Rumble It’s been a media frenzy for everything that happened, but a lot of that credit goes to the story surrounding Sami Zayn with The Bloodline. The Canadian revealed himself against Roman Reigns after the stellar event and is officially dropped from the squad.

There has been a lot of debate about what Zayn’s next move will be and Dave Meltzer, a reporter for the Wrestling Observer, assured on his radio show and on an update of your website, that Sami Zayn will face Roman Reigns in the disposal chamber. Supposedly, there will be a title or two at stake in this fight.

“Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn is now as confirmed as it gets for February 18 at Elimination ChamberDave Meltzer wrote in an update to his Wrestling Observer newsfeed, “I don’t know what the men’s Elimination Chamber match will look like because they already have Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania. Of course, it’s WWE and everything is subject to change, but last minute changes to PPV events have been reduced with Paul Levesque in charge“.

It should be noted that in an interview for Ariel Helwani Ahead of the Royal Rumble, Sami Zayn was very vocal about the possibility of having a major match in Canada. Sami pointed out that the circumstances between Canada and the United States do not exist in many other places in the world and that it would be a unique scenario to do something big.

This information coincides with the leak published by English outlet wrestlingnews in December. At the time, it was reported that Roman Reigns would face Kevin Owens at Royal Rumble and Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber. However, it was not confirmed what the main event of WrestleMania would be as there were still doubts about the possibilities of Dwayne The Rock Johnson.

WWE Elimination Chamber will take place on February 18 from the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It should be noted that this will be the first PPV/PLE the company has held in the city since Breaking Point 2009, and the first in the country since SummerSlam 2019.
