The Public Employment Agency of Sena has launched a new call for international employability, this time leading Canadian companies seek to employ 120 Colombians in industrial and installation fields.

The SENA agency explained that once the number of sheets required by the employer is reached, the application will not be available, since it will go through the application tracking process even if the closing date has not been respected.

Those interested in participating must comply with 100% of the profile requested by the entrepreneur and arranged in the labor intermediation platform of the Public Employment Agency of Sena.

To participate in these job calls in Ontario, Canada, interested Colombians must register or update their resume in the system, indicating the profession they are interested in in the “Professional Interests” field of the tab ” Work experience “.

Colombians interested in participating must have a technical background with three years of certifiable experience and have an intermediate command of English. Work will be performed in Ontario, Canada with a 40 hour work week.

Those selected will have a monthly salary in Canadian dollars: 3,640 CAD, or approximately 13,236,000 Colombian pesos per month.

Those interested in being employed in Ontario, Canada in these activities should have an intermediate level of English, hold a university degree and have at least three years of (verifiable) experience. The working day will be 40 hours per week.

The monthly salary for these activities will be in Canadian dollars: 3,466 CAD, which is approximately equivalent to 11,491,333 Colombian pesos per month.

Both calls will close on March 31, 2023 or before the number of company-nominated candidates is reached. Once this happens, the request will no longer be available.

• The final selection process is solely and exclusively the responsibility of the employer and will take place once the profile verification process, interview and technical tests have been completed.
• If selected, the employer will indicate the conditions and travel requirements to get to the city where these positions will take place.
• The company will request the immigration documents necessary for the incorporation of the people it has selected.
• The duration of the contract will be two years, renewable with the possibility of requesting residency, with a three-month trial at the start.

• If the selection process is conducted in person, shortlisted individuals must be available to travel to the site of the selection process on their own.
• If done virtually, shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the company’s hiring manager to verify the profile. Then they will be called to a virtual interview, on the date indicated by the company, so they must have the availability to connect at the agreed time.
• Applications for these job offers can only be made via the SENA employability agency platform: calls.

Finally, applications made through other job portals, through the company’s pages or through its social networks will not be considered for the selection process.
