President Andrés Manuel López Obrador will no longer respond to United States Claims about consultation and energetic policy during September 16 military parade in the Zocalo, As announced.
The president said that after receiving a letter from US President Joe Biden, in which he stressed respect for Mexico’s sovereignty, he felt it was inappropriate to take a position on the issue.

“We appreciate the respectful attitude of President Biden and for that there is no point in continuing to encourage differences”he said this morning during his morning conference.
López Obrador said he will continue to seek the unity that suits everyone and felt that there can be no fighting because the interest of the people comes first.
“It is better for the opponents to continue rubbing their hands, which, by the way, are not only from abroad, they are from here, even if it seems incredible and they are potentates, but also organic intellectuals, internationalists, very submissive Mexicans used to bowing their heads as if it were the neoliberal era when our foreign policy marked the history of the world,” he told his opponents.
Canada and the United States have filed a formal complaint under the North American Trade Agreement (T-MEC) by consider that energy policy harms their businesses and benefits the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) and Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), so the President announced that he would respond to these claims on September 16.
