Very tight! The Colombians returned home with medals after the international robotics competition in South Korea

The Colombian robotics delegation, Colombian Phoenix, returned to the country with five medals after participating in the International Youth Robotics Competition 2023, the most important robotics competition for young people in South Korea.

Five medals for Colombia

Gold for Colombia went to Jacobo Agudelo, Sebastián Álvarez and Alejandro Morales of Canadian College in the Creative Design category. For this challenge, they created a robot focused on agricultural sector solutions called Argobot 3000.

In addition to this feat, the Colombian Phoenix also won two silver awards in the Creative Design and Senior Volleyball categories, with the participation of students Mariana Ruíz, Isaac Gutiérrez, Andrés Álvarez, Luciana Mejía and Nicolás Domínguez from the Montessori school from Medellin. The bronze medal was awarded to Brahian Holguín of the Marina Orth Foundation in the Save the Forest category.

To the previous awards is added the recognition of excellence in Push Push, for the participation of student Jacobo Agudelo from Canadian College.
