Montreal became a hive of emotions on the night of April 26, when the iconic Velvety They took the stage at the Beanfield Theater to perform their highly anticipated “El Dorado Tour 2024.” Expectations were high, but the group not only met, but exceeded their expectations, providing a magical evening that will long be remembered by those in attendance.
As soon as the doors opened, the atmosphere was electric, filled with enthusiastic fans, many of them decked out in t-shirts and accessories paying homage to the band. The concert began with the triumphal entry of Héctor Buitrago and Andrea Echeverlaughed, who were greeted with thunderous applause. The evening began with “El Dorado,” the anthem that gives the name to their tour and their latest live production, recorded during an emotional concert in Bogotá in 2023.

Celebrating a career spanning over three decades, Aterciopelados has overhauled its extensive repertoire, alternating between beloved classics.
