Los Angeles (USA), July 8 (EFE).- USA and Canada will face each other in the quarter-finals of the Gold Cup this Sunday, just two weeks after the two teams met in the Concacaf final Nations League.

The United States won their second straight Nations League title on July 18, beating Canada 2-0 thanks to goals from Chris Richards and Folarin Balogun.

These Nations League teams are not very similar to the Gold Cup teams, because for this tournament the Americans do not have their references who compete in European football, such as striker Christian Pulisic, and the Canadians are missing also the presence of its great star, Alphonso Davies.
