Wagner boss makes ugly young Russian elite avoid fight in Ukraine
The leader of the Russian Wagnerian mercenary group, Yevgeni Prigozhin, regretted that the Young Russian elites come out of the fight in Ukraine and asked them toFollow the example of the son of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, a participant in the conflict.
“I think it’s their parents who hide them” Prigozhin said this Saturday.
Peskov’s son, Nikolai, who lived in the UK for a long time and is also known as Nikolai Choles, told Moscow-based tabloid KP that he had served because he considered it his duty. The newspaper also published a photo of the 33-year-old in uniform.
Critics, however, said it he did not provide proof of his alleged deployment.
Prigozhin in response, assured that the Peskov’s son had served as an artilleryman in Lugansk, in eastern Ukraine, under a false name after three weeks of training. Prigozhin hailed his military service as “exemplary”.
The children of prominent Russian personalities, on the other hand, are sent to university, where they are exempted from serving in the armed forces, while the children of the workers die in the war, said Prigozhin, reports Europa Press.
