Twitter deletes accounts of Canadian anti-Israel project leader

Jewish Link.- Syrian-Palestinian Laith Marouf, senior adviser and head of the CMAC project, made controversial comments wishing the death of the US military and the expulsion of Israelis from Israel, published Jerusalem Post.

Canada’s Minister of Housing, Diversity and Inclusion, Ahmed Hussen, sent an update to the Executive Director of the Center for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA), Shimon Koffler Fogel, on the actions the federal government has taken in response to the inappropriate funding received by Laith Marouf and the Community Media Advocacy Center (CAMC). “This is a great example of how, when government and stakeholders work together, real progress can be made,” Fogel said in a statement.

The founder of the Canadian Telecommunications Summit, Mark Goldbergtweeted a screenshot of the deleted Twitter accounts of Marouf which said: “Concrete results of the participation of Michael Levitt Yes Anthony Housefather in the Inter-Parliamentary Working Group to Combat Antisemitism Online yesterday in Washington.
