They will pay tribute to Rush on the esplanade of Puebla

The group Rush Monterrey RMT Tribute will arrive this August 20 at the facilities of the auditorium of Plaza Explanada Puebla to pay tribute to the band from Canada composed of Alex Lifeson, Geddy Lee and Neil Peart.

Mexican musicians have at least 25 years of experience transmitting the progressive rock that characterizes them, recalling the Canadians who were able-bodied from 1968 and until 2018.

Through a statement, the group announced that they would arrive in Puebla to pay their respects, highlighting the production they bring to offer a better show and thus the inhabitants of Puebla can live the musical experience.

RMT has already performed in auditoriums throughout the Mexican Republic and has been recognized for the tribute they pay, playing songs such as “Tom Sawyer”, “Limelight”, “Spirit of Radio”, “Fly By Night”, “Working Man”among others.

WHO ARE RUSH?

The Canadian group is recognized worldwide as one of the greatest representatives of hard rock and progressive rock, it was composed ofr Alex Lifeson, Geddy Lee and Neil Peart (died 2020).

His self-titled debut album was released in 1974 and since then the sounds they conveyed with their instruments, as well as the compositions of their songs, have stood out.

After being awarded several times in their country and abroad, in 2016 Lifeson mentioned that the group would not tour anymore due to Peart’s health problems and finally In 2018, it was confirmed that they would not enter recording studios either, ending the group which was about to reach 41 years of activity.

Tickets to attend the tribute are available through the eticket and at the ticket offices of the Explanada Puebla site.
