Marie-Sophie Harvey The Canadian swimmer who won bronze in the 4x200m freestyle at the World Swimming Championships in Budapest, spoke out on the final night of the competition they drugged her when he came out to celebrate the team’s success.
“I was drugged the last night of the World Cup. I was unaware of what they gave me, I only remember that I woke up lost with the doctor and the team leader next to my bed”, he posted on the social network Instagram.
The swimmer recounts what happened: “There was a period of time four to six hours that I can’t remember.
Harvey also shared several images with bruises on his legs, announcing that he had a sprained ribs and a concussion.
“I have never felt so embarrassed. I hesitated to post something or not, but I’ve always been transparent with you,” he said.
The Canadian insists: “These situations happen too often enough to shut me up, unfortunately.”
“Some friends explained to me that they had carried me while I was unconscious. Maybe that explained the bruises on my body, but that It didn’t make me feel any better.” He says.
