OceanGate security issue
And as the countdown to find the Titan’s five occupants alive continues, the media is beginning to report on the tourist submersible’s alleged safety issues. According to various media outlets, two former employees of OceanGate Expeditions raised concerns about the safety of the submersible in 2018. According to his statements, his concerns related to the thickness of the hull of the now-defunct tourist submarine. At the time of the complaint, the two employees were fired accused by the company of sharing “corporate secrets”. The statements of the CEO of Ocean Gate are spreading like wildfire on social networks in which he assures that “he broke certain rules by confronting certain engineers”
So far we know that five people were traveling in the “adventure” to descend on the Titanic to see the remains of the famous ocean liner that disappeared in 1912 after hitting an iceberg in the freezing waters of Nova Scotia in the North Atlantic off the coast of Canada. The remains of the Titanic were found a few years ago and soon after the company OceanGate offered trips to 4,000 meters deep to view the remains of the wreck for around $250,000 per person.

At 4,000 meters deep, according to experts, it is totally dark and the water pressure is enormous. Not all boats would be prepared to withstand this pressure. Apparently, the submarine could carry all the necessary technologies to make this descent, although it would not have passed any official qualification.
