(Bloomberg) – U.S. President Joe Biden plans to meet Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on January 9-10 in Mexico for the North American Leaders Summit, sources close to the government said. case.
Biden will meet one-on-one with López Obrador in Mexico City on Jan. 9 and the three leaders will hold a trilateral session on Jan. 10, the people said, though they warned plans could still change.
Mexico’s president, known as AMLO, at one point said the summit would take place in December, a claim that drew silence from other countries. Spokespersons for the United States and Canada declined to comment on the matter.
