Ricardo Anaya assured that the idea that Andrés Manuel López Obrador is the most popular president in history is a big lie from the government.
The PAN member compared the figures of the current president with those of former presidents Ernesto Zedillo, Vicente Fox and Felipe Calderón and assured that the approval is similar to theirs, in addition, he said that the disapproval of López Obrador is bigger.
“What happens is that López Obrador is his own myth. In other words, he took it upon himself to construct a false image of an invincible leader. Because he wants you to believe that there is no way to beat them, so that we get discouraged, so that we stop fighting. But that will never happen“, he explained in his weekly video posted on Monday on his social networks.
The PAN member stressed that neither López Obrador nor his “corcholatas” nor Morena are invincible, if it were the opposite they would not want to modify the National Electoral Institute (INE).
“If they were really invincible, do you think they would try to change the referee in the middle of the match? Do you know why López Obrador’s obsession with eliminating INE? Because they are afraid of losing. Because they know we can beat them,” he said.
Anaya explained that López Obrador’s electoral reform, called plan B, which Morena’s deputies approved without even reading it and full of errors, aims to weaken the INE.
“The initiative that López Obrador sent and that those of Morena approved like sheep without even reading it, is made with the liver, and that what it seeks is simply to weaken the INE, 307 years ago pages full of errors, contradictions, but with a very clear objective, to leave the weakest, injured and without resources at INE”, he mentioned.

Anaya pointed out that in said reform they seek to remove the power to impose sanctions from the INE, so that the people of Morena can violate the law without the electorate being able to restore order.

Anaya mentioned that if this electoral reform is approved in the Senate, neither Morena nor López Obrador will get away with it, because the document violates the Constitution and can be challenged in the Supreme Court.
