Thanks to a great alliance between the Mayor’s Office of Palmira through the International Cooperation Office and the Canadian CIVIX Foundation, the Youth Leadership Lab ‘Liderab’ took place in Palmira.

The “Liderab” leadership laboratory aims to strengthen and form a political culture in which young people are empowered by the present and the future of the country, thus bringing about significant transformations in favor of communities and territories.

Thanks to a great alliance between the Mayor’s Office of Palmira through the International Cooperation Office and the Canadian CIVIX Foundation, the Youth Leadership Lab ‘Liderab’ took place in Palmira. In this space, several workshops have been developed that have provided training on different topics, such as: Self-reinforcement, structuring ideas and transformation of conflicts based on leadership, to young students of educational institutions in the city.

CIVIX Colombia is a non-governmental organization of Canadian origin established in the country since 2020, whose purpose is to promote and strengthen civic and democratic values ​​in teachers and students through practices and learning experiences. .

“We are CIVIX Colombia, an organization of Canadian origin that promotes civic values ​​and democracy, with the help of teachers and especially aimed at students, we have several programs and one of them is “Liderab” our youth leadership laboratory, whose mission is to potentiate their skills as human beings, soft skills that can help the transformation of our country.We are very grateful to have carried out this great initiative for the second time in Palmira. For her part, student Eileen Gabriela Arias Montenegro said: “Being part of this youth leadership lab ‘Liderab’ has been a very nice experience, as we learn about many topics that are of great help for our future, in addition to strengthening my capacities and learning from other students with whom we share thanks to CIVIX Colombia and the Office of the Mayor of Palmira for this beautiful alliance.”
