Ratifying the effort to strengthen and increase sports activity throughout the country, the Argentine Basketball Confederation continues its process of sports regionalization.
The Cañadense Basketball Association has already presented the necessary documents to move forward with direct affiliation to the CAB, complying with the requirements for adoption of the National Pass Registry, registering players in the digital registration system (SiReDi), using a digital form and organizing tournaments via GESDeportiva. .
The Rosarina Association is currently another of those directly affiliated with the CAB, as is the case of the Santa Fe clubs that make up Sports Region 5.
Likewise, the CAB informs that clubs and associations in the province of Santa Fe will be able to participate in the regionalization system, thus joining the approved competitions in the two branches (men’s and women’s) of mini-basketball, training categories (Federal Training U12 League, U13, U15 and U17), seniors (Pre Federal and Federal League) and Master.
Importantly, the Sports Regions system optimizes competitions, increasing the volume of play between clubs and reducing travel costs. All clubs participate in the initial competition, regardless of national level. There are new clubs in this model joining tournaments where all matches have value, matches are not repeated unnecessarily and there is a stipulated schedule.
The CAB will continue this model of regionalization and promptly report developments related to this issue.
