A tragic accident involving Shania Twain's tour bus left thirteen crew members injured and hospitalized in Canada. The accident happened while Twain's team was traveling between Winnipeg and Saskatoon on an icy road around 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Fortunately, Shania Twain, the 58-year-old singer, was not on the bus at the time of the accident and is safe. The injured crew members are being treated for their injuries, which are not life-threatening, The Sun reported.
The incident involved Twain's tour bus and a truck, according to a statement released by the artist's manager. The shocking images show the bus overturned and destroyed in the snow, with its windshield smashed.
Emergency services had to intervene quickly to free the trapped passengers. Some of those affected managed to escape through an emergency hatch on the roof of the vehicle, local fire chief Dwayne Stone told Global News.

Bad weather conditions were cited as one of the main contributing factors to the accident, with parts of the road closed due to the dangerous road condition. Twain's director said “several vehicles encountered unsafe driving conditions due to the inclement weather.”
The crash site is near Wolseley, Saskatchewan, about 60 miles east of Regina, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said in a news release. The city is located approximately 125 miles north of the North Dakota border.
The tour bus had a Tennessee license plate and was owned by Beat The Street USA, a Florida-based tour support company. The business owner said in a Facebook post that the accident was caused by “icy on the road.”

All passengers and the driver were examined and treated immediately by emergency services and then transported to hospital for further treatment if necessary.
Shania Twain's current tour, titled “Queen Is Me,” has been underway since April and begins in Washington state. Since then, Twain has toured North America and Europe as part of his musical tour.
Despite the shocking accident, it remains unclear whether Twain's planned concert at the SaskTel Center in Saskatoon will be delayed due to team members' injuries.
The artist is known for a string of hit singles that have topped the U.S. and Canadian charts in recent decades, including “You're Still the One” in 1998 and “I'm Gonna Getcha Good” in 2002, which reached first place. position on the Billboard Hot 100.
