This weekend, Formula 1 returns. The ninth round of the calendar will take place at Canada. After the Monaco Grand Prix, during which Charles Leclerc is proclaimed champion, We will see if in this event Red Bull is able to regain a domination which has not been so clear for several weeks – in Miami, Lando Norris beat Verstappen with the first victory of his career. Ferrari and McLaren are hotly pursuing the energy drink team.

On the Spanish side, Canada will once again be an important event to see the evolution of Fernando Alonso driving the Aston Martin AMR24. The Silverstone team has only been able to grab four points in the last three races. The problems in the main qualifying session made Sunday's race excessively heavy, in which drivers did not start in a good position after failing to qualify.

Verstappen has been champion in the last two editions, but after the last races during which he was unable to consolidate the domination he had displayed since the start of the season, the outcome of this GP remains to be seen.

The truth is that the Dutchman's leadership is not in danger, since he is 31 points ahead of Leclerc, his closest pursuer. However, it is the case first place in the Manufacturers' Championship, which is defending Red Bull so far, but could be overtaken by the Italian team, which is only 24 points ahead -276 against 252-.
