The story of The Bloodline has become one of WWE’s most significant in recent years. Moreover, since sami zayn decided to approach the faction, there was a plot twist that was very beneficial for the Canadian. However, and despite Zayn’s great performance, he believes that if Vince McMahon had been the creative lead throughout his time attached to The Bloodline, the development of the script it would have been very different.
“I don’t think it would have been exactly the samebecause they are two people with two very different visions. A lot of these big stories that we’ve talked about in the past, Vince was responsible.. That’s not to say these compelling stories couldn’t have worked under him, just that probably would have had a different outcome. What it is, I guess we’ll never know.” This is how Sami talks about the hypothetical development of his story with The Bloodline in case it was Vince who scripted the whole story.
Additionally, he pointed out what he believes to be the most defining point of the story, and why people received it so well. “For me, a crucial element of the story was appearing on screen with Roman, and the surprise is that you expect Roman to not like me, but he does like me“. Sami’s union with The Bloodline began a year ago, and since then the Canadian has climbed to become one of the baby face the company’s most beloved, despite having belonged to a faction heel.
But the union between Zayn and The Bloodline ended at the Royal Rumble, after the Canadian hit Roman Reigns with a chair from behind. Sami then teamed up with Kevin Owens, and they were able to defeat The Usos and snatch the Unified Tag Team Championships from them. Now, the next thing for the champions will be defending their titles against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at Night of Champions.
