Sam Smith announced his visit to Mexico on September 12 and 14, at the Monterrey Arena and the Sports Palace of Mexico, respectively within the framework of the tower of his next album “Gloria”, which will be released on December 27th.

This is his fourth studio material (in 2014 he released “In the lonely hour”, three years later he presented “The thrill of it all” and in 2020 “Love goes”).

The first singles have been released gradually since February last year, and according to the singer himself, this is a work that reflects a personal revolution.

His career began with the inspiration of Lady Gagabecause it is his story that pushed him to realize his dream of becoming a singer.

Since the release of his debut album, it has been well received, earning him four Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and Best Album.

Later, he participated in the soundtrack of the film “007: Spectre” with the theme “Writing’s on the Wall”, for which he won a Golden Globe and an Oscar for best original song.

During his “Gloria” tour, the Briton will be accompanied by the Canadian singer jesse reyesand will also visit other cities such as Miami, New York, Toronto, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

When is the presale?

Smith himself invited his fans to sign up for a website for access to pre-sales. In CDMX it will start on January 12, to open the general sale on the 13th, while for Monterrey it will start on the 13th, and on the 14th it will open to the general public.

This announcement comes after several days of speculation, since he himself had tweeted that he would give great news these days to his fans in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
