With three wins and a draw, Jorge Alan Estrada Rodríguez, a Salamanca and Mexico national team hockey player, is undefeated with Panthers Field Hockey Club in Canada’s First Division. He competed in the First Division of this country for a month.
In this regard, Alan Estrada comments on having spent a month in Surrey Canada as part of the Panthers Field Hockey Club, “I am very happy and proud of myself, I have gone through many hardships in my sporting career, fortunately I am came out in front and I continued to grow and improve in my sporting career”.
To that he added, “it was my dream and I’m making it happen, I’m making the most of it, I’ve been here for a month, individually and collectively I’m doing pretty well, right now we’ve won all the games, we only drew last Saturday, in Every game I have annotations and we are in second place in the table”.
Regarding how the invitation to be part of this Canadian field hockey club came, he comments, “through a teammate who plays in Barcelona and who played in the United States League United, he contacted me because they were looking for a national team with characteristics like mine. , the idea is to be promoted to the Premier League, we are currently in the first division (zic)”.
Alan Estrada is currently 20 years old and has represented Mexico at Senior, Sub 21 and Sub 18 national team level.
In his most recent participation with the Mexican national team, he contributed to what was the best score of the Pan American U-21 Field Hockey Championship held in Santiago, Chile, in addition to scoring the fourth goal for the Mexico in that same group stage match against Brazil, ultimately leaving the French team in fifth place.
Thus, he also represented Mexico at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires Argentina 2018, where he scored five goals with the Mexican National Sub-18 team, finishing in ninth place.
Prior to the Youth Olympics, he placed second in the 2018 Youth Pan American Cup held in Guadalajara Jalisco.
After representing Mexico at the Youth Olympic Games, Alan Estrada was called up to Mexico’s senior national team for the first time.
He recorded activity within the Open Series 2019 Round 2 based in Odisha, India; in addition to representing the country at the 2019 Pan American Games based in Lima, Peru. In both athletic events, he placed seventh.
