Possible plans for the WWE Tag Team Division

By David González Rodríguez On 05/29/2023

Sammy Zayn and Kevin Owens retained their Unified Tag Team Championships at Night of Champions against The Bloodline, in a match that marked the end of the rivalry and the beginning of the end for the most dominant faction WWE has seen in all these years. Now the Canadians seem to be able to forget about Roman, the Usos and Solo Sikoa, and are already looking forward to their new challenges.

And it seems that this Monday Monday Night Raw we will discover the new challengersand it is that, as reported by Boozer 666 in his personal Twitter account, it will be carried out to define the next candidates who will involve Alpha and Imperium Academy. These two teams are the ones that will be able to opt for a starting opportunity, eventually, in Money in the Bank, the upcoming WWE PLE.

For one thing, Alpha Academy were already Raw Tag Team Champions a few months ago, but they didn’t last long as champions. On the other hand, Imperium never managed to win the tag team titles in WWE, so it would be a good way to consolidate the faction, even if WWE would join the championships again in the same stable.

Likewise, there is also Judgment Day as one of the biggest contenders to compete for the titles, as they have picked up plenty of wins over the past few months and become the High Heel the company. That’s why we could have a title fight between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn before Judgment Day before Money in the Bank.
