DE FREITAS WINS EQUESTRIAN CAR JUMP AND THREE RIDERS CLASSIFIED FOR PARIS 2024
Riders from Argentina, Chile and Colombia have qualified for Paris 2024.
Brazilian Stephan de Freitas managed to position himself at the top of individual equestrian show jumping. The rider who rode the Primavera Egypt Empire Horses played a major role in the last presentation of the competition and managed to obtain the gold medal there..
De Freitas had a brilliant performance which allowed him to win the event and receive a standing ovation from the public present at the Quillota Grenadier Regiment.
“I dedicate this medal to all my colleagues and especially to two missing friends. Eight years ago, he was my teacher, and also an older brother friend who left this year. He spoke to me and told me I had a mission. It was not for me or for him, but for everyone and today I can say that I succeeded for him,” Stephan said enthusiastically after winning gold at the Pan American Games.
United States representatives Kent Farrington and Mclain Ward won the silver and bronze medals. Despite the assertions of Canadian Amy Millar, the score was endorsed by the judges and the table remained unchanged.
“I have participated in several competitions such as the Tokyo Olympic Games, in several nations cups such as those organized in Mexico and Canada, but this was one of the most important because I won the medal of money. “I’m very happy,” Kent Farrington said.
