After using guitars from brands such as Suhr and Mayores for some time, particularly 6- and 7-string Regius Core models, the frontman of the Canadian progressive metal band intervals started a collaboration with Schecter to develop their new signature. Some guitars that we’ve been seeing prototypes of for a few months now, like in the video in which Blessed Rick introduced to Aaron Marshall like the future of the modern guitarand now they are available.
The news Aaron Marshall AM-6 Yes AM-7 They are based on the Schecter C-1 model, and the 6- and 7-string versions share major specifications except for color and bridge.
They both have a body. basswood with domed top, with vibrato Goto and finished arctic jade on the AM-6, and a fixed bridge hip kick and finished cobalt slate on the AM-7.
For these new signatures, Aaron Marshall opted for a bolted mast wenge with Thin “C” profile, combined with a touch of macassar ebony with 24 X-Jumbo frets stainless steelaluminum ring inlays, compound radius 12″-16″ on the 6 strings and 16″ in the 7, nut Graph Tech XL Black Tusqand lock-on tuners on a reverse headstock painted to match the body.
Finally, in electronics they are equipped with a pair of humbuckers United States (solstice on the bridge and equinox on the neck), with volume and tone potentiometers and a 5-position blade selector.
