Asesoras will offer information sessions that day in Colima
Canada is a country that offers many opportunities for those who want to study, work or start a business, but it is important to find the right information so as not to be deceived by intermediaries.
This was expressed by Karina Santillán, manager of the Bis International Student company, which specializes in advising and carrying out legal and safe transfer procedures to this country.
In interview for Newspaper Colima, The counselor said that she will offer information sessions that day in the city of Colima, so that those interested can learn more about the possibilities that exist to emigrate to Canada.
First, Karina Santillán pointed out that her company is over 18 years old and that due to the pandemic, 90% of its services are carried out online, “which has revolutionized the work system”.
He said he mainly works in the city of Guadalajara, although they also already offer their consulting services in Colima, “so we are interested in publicizing the options to study, work or live in Canada”.
He stressed that his company offers said transfer in a legal and safe way, “especially the possibilities that exist in this country to establish oneself more permanently”.
He added that he more often serves people who want to study in Canada and then work in that career, “that is, many want to apply for permanent residency.”
He pointed out that such a country is among the five with the best standard of living and significant economic development; “It’s one of the safest and most prosperous places to live and work.”
He illustrated that there are options for a Mexican to study and work in Canada, “but also that he can bring his wife and children, who will receive a free education.”
Karina Santillán clarified that from yesterday and Thursday, information sessions will be held in Manzanillo and Colima; “These are sessions for those looking to open a subsidiary or business in Canada.”
He specified that today at 8:15 am, at the Ceballos Hotel, a briefing will take place; while at 5 p.m. there will be another session at the Villa de Álvarez Campus of the University of Colima.
He pointed out that during these sessions, the options will be reported, “so that through a certified government-approved counselor, we can accompany them through the process of moving to Canada to study, work or undertake.”
He regretted that there was a lot of misinformation, “for example, you should know that to enter Canada, all you need is a passport and an ETA permit, with which you can spend 6 months in this country”.
He explained that the ETA permit is an online notification, where the personal data and the return transfer are specified, as well as the hotel in which they will stay, “with which they can enter the country and stay 6 months in as a tourist.
He pointed out that malicious companies are selling this permit for up to a thousand dollars, “they tell people that they can work, when in reality it is not possible”.
He explained that in order to work you have to process the working license“but this is never delivered to Mexico, rather the person concerned receives a pre-authorization letter, with which you go to the immigration office of the first Canadian city and the document is delivered there.”
He stressed that all this information will be provided during today’s sessions, “this in order to carry out a serious and legal process to be able to enter this country safely”.
Regarding the counseling process, Karina Santillán indicated that an online session is first organized with the interested party, “this helps us to profile them and explore their needs”.
He added that in a second session, the options are presented to the interested party, “while from the third, a service contract agreement is concluded, which may vary depending on the objectives and processes” .
He pointed out that in Canada there are many opportunities for people looking for an academic or professional experience or to change their residence, “there are many advantages in terms of security, economy and entrepreneurship” .
He argued that the authorities in this country take great care of immigrants, “that’s why it’s important that people go to reliable sources and not to companies that are only looking for money”.
He said Mexicans are highly valued for their level of efficiency, responsibility and professionalism, “many companies are looking to hire people from our country.”
For her part, Samantha Power, representative of Power Immigration Consulting, explained that she had more than 10 years of experience in student exchanges, “but also in legal issues with workers”.
He said they work with people to understand Canada’s legal system, “because a lot of people come to us with false information to settle in this country.”
He pointed out that all cases are different, “because there is no application that works for everyone, this is the first thing we say to people from Mexico who approach us”.
He said he met someone who was studying in Canada and intended to take his family with him; “Since he was enrolled in a university, he had the right to bring his wife with a work permit, as well as his children, who could study for free.”
He said the person didn’t have all that information, “we helped him process all the permits and they’re all in Canada, they’ve just received their residency because they’ve also completed their master’s and can apply for receive this benefit”.
He said that in his case, he is a specialist from British Columbia, the state where the city of Vancouver is located and where there is a master’s program in technology and software.
He pointed out that in this study program, residency can be applied automatically, “this because there are many job offers for this type of developer engineers”.
He added that Mexicans under the age of 40 seek to emigrate for professional reasons, those over that age intend to open a branch, bring their families and even workers.
He stressed that Mexicans are received with great respect, “because they also understand the issue of immigration and people come from many countries, it is difficult to find someone who is totally Canadian”.
She added that they are looking for professionals in technology, science, investors, nursing and preschool teachers, “but if you come with another profession, that is also fine.
“Also people who want to train in the extraction of minerals or oil, which is done in the north of the country; It is a very specific training, it lasts 2 years and the salary is 150,000 dollars per year,” he said.
Respondents provided the WhatsApp number 332-080-72-10, to expand information on the information sessions.
