The Mexico-Canada Friendship Group, which will be chaired by Deputy Ildefonso Guajardo Villarreal (PRI), was officially installed in the Chamber of Deputies.

The legislator stressed that this group will enrich the bilateral relationship between the two countries, and mentioned the treaty between Mexico, the United States and Canada. “The momentum of the agenda set by Canada in the progressive part of this agreement has been very important. If today the treaty from which we benefit in terms of integration includes labor issues, labor rights, issues of protection of SMEs, basic issues for the environment, it is thanks to an alignment of interests very important between the Mexican agenda and the Canadian agenda.” .

The event was attended by the President of the Political Coordination Council, Deputy Rubén Ignacio Moreira (PRI), who highlighted the diplomatic tradition of the two countries. He recalled that various factors unite us to Canada, such as educational exchanges, regulated migration, tourism, among others, “we love your country, its defense of human rights, and I think we can establish a working relationship there. .
