Nadal avoids Djokovic, Tsisipas and Medvedev at ATP Finals

The Spanish tennis player Raphael Nadal was framed this Thursday in the green group of the ATP Finals, avoiding three of the favorites like the Serbian Novak DjokovicGreek Stefanos Tsitsipas and Russian Daniel Medvedev, which will be measured against each other in the red group.

The ATP proceeded this morning to the draw of the two groups of the tournament which closes the season and which brings together the eight best rackets of the Turin circuit (Italy, north) from November 13 to 20.

The Spaniard Carlos Alcarazcurrent world number one, will ultimately not be able to attend the tournament due to an abdominal injury he suffered in the quarter-finals of the Paris Bercy Masters 1000 and, therefore, is left at the expense of Nadal and Tsitsipas to maintain its number one condition.

The young tennis player from Murcia needs the player from the Balearic Islands not to be a finalist and the Greek not to be proclaimed champion by winning all his matches to continue to be at the top of the rankings.

The eight tennis players have already been divided into two groups and only the first two of each of them will qualify to play the knockout phase, consisting of a semi-final and a final.

Nadal was framed in the green group with the Norwegian Casper RuudAmerican style Taylor Fritz and the Canadian Felix Augier-Aliassime.

The red group is made up of Djokovic, Tsitsipas, Medvedev and Russian Andrey Rublev.
