Mexico is open to discuss any issue with the United States and Canada: AMLO

President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador assured that Mexico is open to discuss any topic with his American counterpart Joe Biden and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who will visit the country next week.

In The Mannera of the National Palace, The Chief Executive explained that he had sent a letter to the President of the United States informing him of the Priority topics for Mexico to address at the next meeting.

“This is to comment in a very respectful way on what we suggest we should be the topics we could discuss. Of course, respecting that he also brings his agenda… Making it clear that we are open to anything topic…President Biden and Prime Minister Trudeau,” he said.

And it is that on Monday of next week López Obrador and Biden will have a bilateral meeting at the National Palace and on Wednesday the same will be true with the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau.

In the midst of these meetings, on Tuesday 10, the North American Leaders Summit in which the three leaders will participate.

“President Biden is going to be with us on Monday, the agenda is not set yet, of course the most relevant thing is when we are going to allocate the issues of interest to the United States and Mexico, from even in the case of Canada with the affairs of our country, it is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,” he said.

López Obrador mentioned that outposts from Mexico and Canada have been arriving for days to prepare for the meetings “We are very happy that these two leaders of sister cities, neighbors with us, are here.”

Finally, he mentioned that it is probable that the three days of activities with the United States and Canada morning lectures are not held.
