Mexico completed the diving day on October 24 in the Pan American Games Santiago 2023 with a new medal. Chávez finished with 336.85 points, enough to beat the Americans Krista Palmer And Hailey Hernandeztwo of his main rivals in the fight for the podium, and finished the event in second place in the standings.
