Mauricio Kuri strengthens his relations with the Canadian group EXFO – Diario de Querétaro

The Governor, Mauricio Kuri González, met with the founder and Executive Chairman of EXFO, Germain Lamone, to learn about the progress of the project of the Canadian company, specialist in telecommunications, which will start its operations in Querétaro on December 1 ; with an investment of 200 million pesos and the creation of 235 new highly specialized jobs.

During his visit, the President of the State went to the factory of the firm of the electronics sector, based in Quebec, where he learned about the state of what will be the center of operations of the company which will be installed in the industrial park of Querétaro, and which will have a fiber optic factory, test equipment, in addition to developing network operating solutions for Internet access providers and telecommunications manufacturers.

EXFO’s Founder and Executive Chairman, Germain Lamone, acknowledged that the city of Querétaro is a magnificent place to invest, highlighting the technological and educational programs carried out by the state government in collaboration with the education sector and the private initiative.

“It will be a pleasure for us to be in this city as collaborative citizens in such a magnificent city as Querétaro. I think the city is beautiful, technology is very important with the school, the Polytechnic University, I think like I said, it’s an investment that’s permanent, that’s long term, I’m very committed to realizing our presence in Querétaro”, demonstrated.
