The heat puts almost all of Spain at risk today
The heat will put this Wednesday in danger, a significant risk or extreme risk for almost all of Spainwith maximum temperatures that will reach 44 degrees in some parts of the country, as reported by the National Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
Specifically, in Andalusia, the provinces of Cordoba, Granada and Jaén will be in red notice due to high temperatures; in orange notice Malaga and Seville; and in yellow notice Almería, Cadiz and Huelva. In this community, storms will also have a yellow warning for Almería and Granada.
The heat will also put the Community of Madrid on red notice; in orange notice for Cantabria, Asturias, Navarre and Rioja; and a yellow notice to the Region of Murcia and Valencia.
In Aragon, the provinces of Huesca, Teruel and Zaragoza will be exposed to a significant risk for the same reason and the storms will put Teruel and Zaragoza in danger.
All of Castile and León will also be put on notice due to the heat: Burgos, in red notice; Ávila, León, Palencia, Segovia, Soria, Valladolid and Zamora, in yellow notice; and Salamanca, in yellow notice. Likewise, Burgos and Soria will be at risk due to the storms.
Additionally, in Castile-La Mancha, Cuenca will be at extreme risk due to high temperatures and Albacete, Ciudad Real, Guadalajara and Toledo will be at significant risk. The storms will have a yellow warning for Albacete, Cuenca and Guadalajara.
For its part, the Catalan province of Lérida will be in yellow notice due to the heat, which, in Extremadura, will have Cáceres and Badajoz in orange notice and, in Galicia, Lugo and Orense will be in yellow notice.
In the Basque Country, Álava, Guipúzcoa and Vizcaya will be extremely threatened due to heat and storms. Likewise, Guipúzcoa and Vizcaya will be threatened by the galernas.
