Good news for Aston Martin. Spear Stroll could participate in the Bahrain Grand Prix this weekend despite his bicycle accident a few days ago. It was not in testing in this same scenario, but yes, he would make his debut.
As ‘Motorsport’ reports, the Canadian is heading to Bahrain and there it will be the doctors of the FIA who will decide if they give him the green light to get on the Aston Martin.
Stroll had to undergo surgery in Barcelona after fracturing his wrist in a cycling accident. Later he went to Silverstonewhere in the factory the team worked on the simulator.
He feels ready and that’s why he will be in Bahrain. The FIA and Formula 1 will make the final decision.
Aston Martin gave Felipe Drugovich the opportunity during testing and there was also talk of the possibility of a one-off return from Sebastian Vettel. The team confirmed that there had been talks, although no further details were given.
