Kini Carrasco and Cristina Miranda, at the Montreal World Series
One of them is Kini Carrasco Ávila, member of the Ecosport Alcobendas de Cáceres Triathlon Sports Association, who comes to this event after finishing in sixth position in the Paratriathlon World Cup last weekend.
Cristina Miranda Zambrano, also from the Ecosport Alcobendas Triathlon Sports Association, who currently occupies the fourth position in the world ranking after finishing fifth in the To Coruña World Cup.
The two Extremadurians will have to complete a first swimming segment of 750 meters, a cycling section of 20.4 kilometers and a running race of 5 kilometers.
The swimming segment will take place in the Cuenca Olímpica, in Parc Jean-Drapeau, in a circuit delimited by buoys and which the athletes will have to go around in an anti-clockwise direction.
The Gilles Villeneuve speed circuit will be the epicenter of the cycling segment. The triathletes will have to do five laps along the Chemin du Chenal le Moyne to face the second of the transitions.
Once again, the Gilles Villeneuve speed circuit will be the scene of the running sector, in which the athletes will face a course that will cross the pit lane, as well as the Olympic basin.
Both Kini Carrasco and Cristina Miranda are heading to Canadian soil with the firm intention of continuing to add points in order to secure a ticket to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
