Jesús Batiz scores a great goal for Toronto FC in the MLS Next Pro 2023

The Honduran legionnaire Jesus Batiz23, added his second MLS Next Pro goal after nabbing the ball in the corner after a nice whip kick that crept into the goal of the New England Revolution.

The American Youth Championship continues to bring good news to Honduran football with the level of goals the compatriots are displaying.

John Dennis, A New York player, he’s Catracho’s current top scorer (3) in the tournament, but there’s one name that’s starting to ring loud and that’s Jesús Batiz.

The striker scored one of the finest goals of the MLS Next Pro matchday eight in the United States, in Toronto’s 2-3 loss to the New England Revolution.

With the Canadians provisional 1-0, Batiz’s goal came in the 38th minute, the footballer played from the right wing, but a fine and powerful left-footed shot ended up slipping into the top left corner of the New England goal.

Jesús released a huge fierrazo after a 40-minute run, that goal meant 2-0 for Toronto, but the rival team ended up coming back to make it 2-3 final.

Toronto FC are last in the EAST conference, adding just four points in seven games where they have 12 goals for and 17 goals against.

Catracho’s powerful right-winger left Rochester New York FC to sign with Toronto FC, still in the same league, the MLS Next Pro.

The Triunfo de la Cruz, Tela, Atlántida native moved to the United States in 2014 and has dual citizenship.
